Middelburg Junior Rugby Club is a community-driven, volunteer-run rugby programme for boys and girls aged 7 – 13. We combine top-quality skills coaching with character-building life lessons so every child leaves the field a better player —and a better person.
We first kicked off just before the COVID-19 pandemic. When lockdowns forced us to pause, our dream of a youth-centred rugby hub seemed out of reach. Fast-forward to 2024: a handful of determined youngsters, passionate coaches, and supportive parents reignited the vision. Word spread quickly, and soon we had a full team in every age group. The relaunch succeeded because our community stepped up—and we’re grateful every day for that support.
